Old Business
The flooring has been completed. We are very grateful to all of the volunteers.
The trapping class was successful and we made about $120 in donations and the hotdog lunch.
The dumpster will be located where the backstop was located. The tree was removed and the backstop pipes will help make the fence around it. Lucretia has talked to TL Sanitation and has set up an automatic payment that will be quarterly.
We got the tile back from Huge Discount Floor and it is now in the lobby.
360 casters have been put on the chair carts so they won’t scratch the floors.
New Business
We had to call a HVAC repairman because the west mini split was not working correctly. The freon was charged and dye was put in to see if there is a leak. So far, it is working well.
There has been a concern about people bringing pets into the building during the Farmers Market. We have ordered signs for the door that says no pets allowed except for service animals.
We have been looking at other venues around us and our fees are way too low. We are not interested in raising rates for Peck residents, but for non-Peck residents. We need to get some comparison rates for comparable venues and have a community discussion and vote at the next meeting.
We also need to review our deposit policy and price. The deposit should be sent in at the time of booking and be forfeited for no-shows, cancellations or excessive cleanup.
Aleta has talked to the landscaper about the dead plants by the door and they are working on a plan.
We need to update the Google site for new photos.
We need to have our insurance agent come out to review our policy. Do we have enough coverage since we have done the renovations? We need to invest in more fire extinguishers, one for each room.
Lucretia filed the E-form User Account Reset to keep the business in active status. She also filed the 90 NE form which is due September 15. She also called an attorney that may help guide us on why we are stuck with the some of our federal paperwork. (Milo Unruh)
Jonathan has a couple of rolling trashcans that he is willing to donate to the center, which were gratefully accepted. Pam Benson asked if one could be chained to a pole on the shelter house for outside trash.
Miscellaneous Business
Next board meeting will be September 29 at 7:00 p.m.
Woody Stitt moved to close the meeting. Julie Bell seconded. Passed.
