Committee Meeting
Bingo - Jess
I have given Lucretia all my receipts. We made $30 from Jessica Slavik from her candy sales. All together we made a gross amount of $1,848.30. Our expenses were $155.56, our Square fees were $25.73, so our profit was $1,667.06.
We had higher attendance at this Bingo. We sold 77 packets. We made $208 on our 50/50, so the center made $104. The coupons leftover from the car show were a big hit and made more people feel like winners. Using the leftover food from the car show was also a big profit maker for us.
I would like to try another Bingo in January.
Woody - I think it all went great.
Jess - We did have one family show up late so we sold them their packets at ½ price and then they won in their first round so they were happy.
Farmers Market
Had 11 vendors - $240. Have 10 vendors signed up for next month. She needs the building October 17 and 18 for a Flea Market. The Craft Show will be December 6 with set up on the 5th.
Volunteer Appreciation Night
It was a nice party. Thank you for Kim and Jonathan for organizing it. We need to do it more often.

July 28 - Board Meeting
Old Business
We have our flooring. Anyone that wants to stay after the meeting and help unload it would be greatly appreciated. We will send out a Group Me when we have a date set.
What should we do with the giant table? It is falling apart and it will scratch our new floor. Comments from members: It is definitely wobbly and falling apart. It is so heavy and hard to move. It scratches the floor now. We also need to get rid of the smaller wobbly table. Now that we have the lighter tables, we really don’t need it.
GroupMe app is now working. There are 2 options. YOu can download the app, or when someone sends a message it can come in as a text. Jess will help anyone with issues with the app after the meeting.
The township put more rock on the low spot, but they still need to raise the road a bit. We also need to talk to the KDHE rep to know when they plan to build the new building so we can put in the drainage ditch to drain the low area.
New Business
There will be an Intro to Trapping and Snaring on August 2 from 9 am to 2 pm hosted by Dhon Stewart. If they want us to cook lunch like we did last year, we still have food left from the car show. We will see how many people he thinks he will have and if he is interested.
We will be giving the flooring company a ceiling tile to paint for the lobby because they gave us 50% off the price because we are a community center.
Miscellaneous Business
When do we start planning the soup supper? The end of July. Kim said she will chair it if Julie will help her.
Next board meeting will be July 28 at 7:00 p.m.
Woody moved to close the meeting. Linda Wilbur seconded. Passed.
Several people stayed to help unload tiles.
